Track Your Distance

Use any fitness tracking app or wearables like Apple Watch, Garmin, and Samsung Health, or apps like Strava, Nike Run Club, Runkeeper, and Healthy 365 etc. Both outdoor activities and indoor workouts (like treadmill runs or stationary bikes) are accepted. For other activities, except running, walking, and cycling (like swimming, canoeing, etc.), results are to be uploaded via Manual Upload.

*Note: All mentioned tracking apps are free to download or offer a 100% free version to log your activities.

Compatible with Strava

Track each session—once your activity is synced or submitted, your distance is automatically added to your profile to watch your milestones grow.

Cumulative Tracking

No need to complete your distance in one go. Example: 3 km run today + 3.1 km walk tomorrow = 6.1 km total.

Go at Your Own Pace

There are absolutely no cut-off times or minimum pace requirements within the official race period.

Submission Guidelines & Automated Checks

To maintain fairness, our automated Heymetriq™ engine checks all submitted results, whether uploaded via screenshot or synced from Strava. Review the criteria below to ensure your activities are accepted smoothly.

What Is Accepted

  • Eligible Activities: Running, walking, and cycling can be tracked normally. For other activities, except running, walking, and cycling (like swimming, canoeing, etc.), results must be submitted via the Manual Upload method.
  • Minimum Requirements: The minimum distance to be clocked per activity is 200 metres, and the activity time must be a minimum of 1 minute.
  • Single Activity Sessions: Track each workout as a dedicated single activity with a clear start and end time. Full-day walking summaries, daily step logs, or combined activities will be rejected.
  • Indoor & Outdoor: Both GPS-tracked outdoor activities and indoor stationary workouts (like treadmills, stationary bikes, or pool laps) are fully eligible.
  • Genuine Workouts: As long as your submission displays a valid distance and duration reflecting a real effort, it will be added to your tally.

🚫 Rejections & Flags

  • Unrealistic Paces: Activities tracked at superhuman speeds (e.g., driving a car) or at paces far too slow to reflect an active workout will be automatically rejected.
  • Extreme Distances or Durations: Accidental logs left running for days, or single sessions covering impossible distances in one go, will trigger our rejection filters.
  • Data Anomalies: If your data contains anomalies (such as an unusually long stride length or odd data spikes), your submission will be automatically rejected by the system.
  • No Appeals: All results are strictly evaluated by our Heymetriq™ engine, hence no appeals will be entertained when results have been rejected. Please take personal responsibility to ensure your results are valid and accurately tracked before submission.

Common Tracking & Submission Questions

I don’t use Strava (I use RunKeeper, Healthy 365, Garmin, etc.). How and where do I submit my records? Can I email them?

We do not accept submissions via email or a separate standalone app. To use apps like RunKeeper or Healthy 365, log in to your account at runforsingapore.com, navigate to your dashboard, and use the "Manual Upload" method. From there, take a screenshot of your workout from your preferred app and upload it directly to the dashboard.

Could you guide me step-by-step on how to manually upload using my mobile phone?

  1. Open your mobile web browser and log in at runforsingapore.com.
  2. Go to your dashboard and navigate to the "Manual Upload" section.
  3. Tap the upload area to open your phone's photo gallery.
  4. Select a screenshot that clearly shows your tracked distance and total duration.
  5. Submit for our Heymetriq™ engine to review.

I usually use Strava Auto-Sync, but I tracked a walk with my Fitbit (or other app) and it didn’t sync. Can I just manually upload a screenshot for this one activity?

To prevent duplicate entries, we strongly encourage participants to stick to only one submission method. If you primarily use Strava, you should link your Fitbit (or Garmin/Apple Watch) to your Strava account so the data automatically flows into Strava, which will then push automatically to our platform.

I did my 1st run this morning, but I'm not seeing it on my dashboard. Why didn't it sync?

If you are using Strava Auto-Sync, ensure that your Strava activity privacy is set to "Everyone" (Public) and that it is a GPS-tracked activity (manual entries typed into Strava are blocked). Auto-syncs process periodically, so there may be a slight delay. If you uploaded manually, ensure your screenshot didn't trigger an automated rejection (e.g., unrealistic pace or data anomalies).

Are participant names automatically listed on the leaderboard?

Yes! Once your progress updates, you will appear on the interactive live leaderboard. To protect participant privacy, the public leaderboard will only display your selected nickname, or your first name and last initial.

Where can I download my e-Cert?

Your exclusive Finisher e-Cert will be available to download directly from your account dashboard once you successfully complete the 61 KM challenge. Please note that the e-Cert is only awarded to participants who hit the 61 KM milestone!
